I would like to see Wellsville adopt the city bus. I've talked to city council and Cache Valley transit. They both say this CAN be done but first, we need to determine interest and second we need citizens to speak for themselves on moving this item to ballot. I'd like to see this happen this fall.

A city council meeting is scheduled for Sept 17th at 6 pm at the City office building, west entrance. Please come and make a comment during "public comment" time at the start of the meeting.

During Founder's Day, I gathered nearly 100 names of Wellsville residents who would like the bus to come here. So I know there are many more of you out there who also agree.

The reasons I got for having the bus were: save money on gas, need a ride to USU, need a ride to Charter School, I have a disability and can't drive, I don't have a drivers license, I want to get up to Mountain Crest, my mom doesn't want to drive me everywhere.

There are so many reasons and I know you have even more.

Please feel free to come to the city council meeting on the 17th or join our Facebook group: "Wellsville Ut needs public transportation. Join us if you agree!"

Well for starters we really need all our citizens to come to Sept. 17th city council meeting. This item will be on the agenda and so anyone can come and speak in favor of the bus. At this point it is in city councils' hands, so we need them to know that we'd like it!

There would be 6 in our family using the bus. My husband would ride it to work, my daughter, to the charter school, and myself and 3 kids to go shopping in Logan. We really need it THIS YEAR! We would use it at least 3 times/week. It would save so much money on gas.

Supporters of the Bus in Wellsville,

Elections for Wellsville are coming up. Our issue for the bus should be on the ballot this November.
Please make your feelings known. Call city council, call your neighbors and friends. Make everyone aware that you want a bus in Wellsville and that you want it on the ballot in November.

City council needs to know how many people are really behind this idea. Let them know, you are!
